Independent Welding and Transport Auto & Diesel Shop is a family-owned and operated business proudly serving Ontario, OR. What began as a transportation and welding company has grown into a full-service repair shop dedicated to keeping trucks, equipment, and vehicles running strong.

Our owner, John Cherry, brings decades of experience as a long-haul truck driver and one of the largest hay brokers in the Pacific Northwest. Beyond hauling hay, John also transports roofing, lumber, heavy equipment, and more. As a journeyman pipefitter with exceptional welding skills, John adds unmatched expertise to our shop—ensuring every repair is done right the first time.
